October 17, 2024, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture – tappi.lab Inc. (CEO: Koichi Sonoda) will officially launch “Aomori Hiba no Mori,” an online sales site for daily necessities made with Aomori hiba essential oil.
We have succeeded in emulsifying Aomori Hiba essential oil and water without using alcohol or glycerin, and have developed a product that will not separate for a long period of time.
Our product lineup uses Aomori Hiba essential oil, which has excellent antibacterial and deodorizing properties, and includes a multi-purpose spray that can also deodorize, disinfect, and prevent mold, as well as a deodorizing gel that can be placed in various places, and other products that are easy to incorporate into everyday life.

(What is Aomori Hiba?)
Aomori hiba contains various compounds, including hinokitiol (which is found in cypress wood but abundantly in Aomori hiba essential oil), which inhibits and repels not only mold but also various odor-causing bacteria. It has anti-mold, anti-bacterial, deodorizing, and odor-removing properties, and also repels pests such as termites and cockroaches.
